First Christian Academy (FCA) was established in 1989. First Christian Academy offers an independent, non-denominational Christian education. As of 2004, FCA's student body is represented by over 50 area churches. Christian education is taught by word and deed, through everyday activities, including snack and meal time and indoor and outdoor play. Chapel is held weekly and is age appropriate. Bible stories and Christian character are taught through the basic curriculum including Math, English, Social Studies, Science and Spelling. FCA is designed to stand behind the parents and enforce the values and character of our families.
FCA has achieved and maintained a Model Status (the highest honors awarded) from Accelerated Christian Education, since 1991. First Christian Academy is also a member in good standing with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). FCA opened our new campus in the Southbelt area in August, 2006.
Benefits to Attending a Christian School
The world debates…… Christian School vs. Public School. Allow us the opportunity to point out five important facts to consider…..
- FCA teaches that the Bible is the guidebook for our lives and that a personal relationship with God is the way of escape from the difficult issues in life.
- FCA students receive a quality education. Our academic philosophy concurs with the Bible by teaching precept upon precept. FCA offers small classes with personalized instructions. Children are not pushed through school -- mastery of concepts is required before advancement.
- The administration of FCA hand selects students and families that are like-minded with the philosophy of FCA. Our motto is, “A Christian School for the Christian Family”.
- FCA has taken every precaution possible through screening and our interviewing process to provide a safe, Christian environment.

FCA Philosophy
It is our desire and commitment to partner with our parents to provide a quality education which encourages each child to grow academically, socially and physically as well as spiritually. The staff are all Christians and model Christian life before the students. Our staff treats children with love, respect and dignity.
First Christian Academy is a school for children and
students who love the Lord their God.
In addition to academics, school is a place where children can develop a good work ethic through day to day classroom activities and responsibilities. Education is a tool that is used to teach character and values. One definition of education is instruction in truth. The Bible teaches that all of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ Jesus (Col. 2:3) and true wisdom comes from God (James 1:5). Therefore children of all ages need the Lord and need to be taught to seek knowledge and wisdom from the Lord in every factor of life, including academics.
Our Motto
FCA is a Christian school for the Christian family.
Our Vision
The vision of FCA is to teach and training children and young people to be young people of integrity, responsible and apt to teach and learn. We believe schools and teachers are given the unique opportunity to be used by God to mold and encourage young people to become all they can be for the Lord. We also believe Christian schools and teachers must have strong values and standards of excellence. Therefore, the student body of FCA is carefully selected through the application and the parent and child interview process to find families of like purpose, direction and passion. Deuteronomy 6:5-7, Proverbs 22:6
Statement of Faith
According to the IRS, FCA must have a Statement of Faith. The directors and administration understands and does not expect all staff of FCA to believe or totally agree with the Statement of Faith, but all staff must be able to support and not oppose the Statement of Faith. The administration of FCA focus’ on the major—leaving the minor to individuals. FCA believes if one studies out the Word of God, they will be able to do so. The Bible is the inspired Word of God and instructs man in the daily living, attitudes and lifestyles pleasing to God. The gospel is Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. It is obeyed through repentance, water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus and infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with tongues, as the Spirit of God moves upon us.
Nondiscriminatory Policy
First Christian Academy admits students and hires employees of any race, color, national and ethnic origin. Students and staff are given equal access to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students and staff at the school.
It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its hiring policies, educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
