FCA offers a fully accredited educational program for infants through Pre School. The Child Development Department is divided into two sections: Early Childhood (birth - 2yrs.) and Pre School (3yrs. - kindergarten). FCA focuses on meeting the child where he or she is. Teachers use a variety of curriculum to meet the needs of their class. The core curriculum for Early Childhood Development is Funshine* Express Creative Curriculum. The core curriculum for the Pre School is Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E) and Saxon Math. Each of the curriculum outline includes: math, phonics/letters, reading, science, social living, art, music, and reasoning skills along with coordination and vision perception development activities.  Our curriculum is specifically designed to be age appropriate and foster exploration, creativity, and academic success.

Young children learn through play.  We teach both the younger and the older children to interact with others by sharing, listening, and working in-small and large groups.  Through art, they learn to express their feeling and ideas.  Through block play, they learn to plan and solve problems.  Dramatic play allows the children to express themselves as well as develop their language skills.  All center time and work time in the class is aimed at developing the child’s social and learning skills.

Hours of Operation

FCA Child Development Division is open year round for your convenience. The facility opens at 6:30am and closes at 6:30pm. For our families' convenience we offer a 3 or 5 day School Only Program and we also offer a School and Extended Day program that gives care during our entire hours of operation.The PreK School Only class starts at 8:00 am. We strongly encourage parents to bring their students to class on time for Pre School. The academic development of your child is based on attendance, and if they are late they will miss phonics reviews. We want your child to receive the most out of their education.
