TE certification is not required in lieu of teaching experience in a private school or church setting. Teachers may be hired on a provisional status.

FCA does not micromanage their employees. They must be able to take the initiative and follow through on assignments with zeal and creativity. If these qualities describe you, please read thoroughly and follow the steps below to begin the application process.
Application:
- Download the Staff Application and Skill Evaluator Packet for the position you are applying for below.
- Complete the Staff Application and Skill Evaluator Packet thoroughly so we can assess your skills for proper placement.

Teaching Position Interview Process:
- The school administration will contact you for a telephone interview.
- If we feel from the telephone interview that you are a good match for FCA and that we can mutually bless you, we will contact you for an on site panel interview. Make sure to come dressed in business attire. The panel may consist of Public School Teachers, FCA Teachers, ACE Management and long term Parents of FCA with a professional background. At the time of the interview, please bring your driver's license, social security card, first aid and CPR cards, high school and college diplomas and certificates you have received related to teaching. Also, please bring a video/dvd of yourself teaching and of your classroom setup (if possible).
- If the panel feels you are a good candidate, you will complete an hour long Observation Session of your teaching.
Support Staff Interview Process:
- The school administration will contact you for a telephone interview.
- If we feel from the telephone interview that you are a good match for FCA and that we can mutually bless you, we will contact you for an on site interview with the Department Head.
Selection:
If you have been selected for a position at First Christian Academy, you will be contacted via e-mail or mail with a job offer.

FCA teaching and supporting staffs have a stated uniform for all. FCA desires to have the reputation of a premier school in character as well as academics. In order to maintain a standard, FCA has established a uniform: |

All uniform guidelines are essential. Staff that follow them provide an excellent example to the students of FCA. Unfortunately, when they are not followed, the issue will have to be addressed.
- Hair is to be a normal hair color. No stripes or strange styles or cuts.
- Only one pair of stud earrings.
- No visible tattoos or body piercing.
- Minimum jewelry and only professional make up.
- Nails are to be kept trimmed. Polish is to be a neutral color.
- Clothes are to be neat, pressed and clean each day.
- Blouses that were designed to be tucked in should be worn that way.
Uniform for Office Staff
Office Staff are expected dress professional in dresses or suits. Clothes are to be modest: skirts must cover the knee, blouses must have sleeves and not too low.
Uniform for Lead Teachers in (1st -12th Grades)
- Black , brown or navy skirt, solid button blouse, hose, black, navy or brown shoes.
- Properly fitting sweaters or suit jackets may be worn in solid black, navy or brown.
- If no jacket or sweater is worn, school apron should be worn.
Uniform for Assistant Teachers, Infants/Toddler Dept. and Kitchen/Janitorial Staff
- Khaki or black skirt
- Burgundy or hunter green polo shirt purchased from Parker Uniforms or Classroom School Uniforms
- School apron
- Hose and black or brown low healed closed shoes
- Properly fitting sweaters or vests may be worn in solid black, hunter green or burgundy.
